Well, here we are less than a week into the new year. I have a few thoughts about resolutions I decided to bring up.
First, why wait until the end of the year to improve yourself? Why not start when you notice the problem? Why should you think about your flaws only during the New Year? I'm going to take a wild guess and say you aren't perfect and have a few things that could use improvement. And as you might guess, this applies to me as well. Why should you examine yourself only once a year?
Not to mention you probably aren't going to keep it. Who knows, maybe you've already broken yours for this year. A lot of them are unrealistic anyway.
And we always act like the new year is going to be so much better than the old one. How often has that actually been the case? Unless something went or will go really wrong, the new year usually is about the same as the last one.
