A To Z Reflections:2015

This isn't constructive criticism on the Challenge itself so much as it is personal considerations.

Since this was my second year doing the Challenge, I seem to have handled the whole thing better. And since I had entered two blogs in it, that experience with both A to Z and blogging in general was helpful. I also joined Celebrate the Small Things just before April, so doing both that and A to Z provided a little extra challenge. I tried to combine the two most times to make things easier, having to separate them only on I.

Admittedly, I didn't plan ahead as well as I should have. There were several times I didn't get a good idea until late in the day and stayed up ridiculously late writing up an entry, or in the case of my second blog, stayed up ridiculously late looking up songs and YouTube videos.

But I made it.

Don't know yet if I'll do it again next year. If I do, I should start brainstorming themes and save the randomness I write during the rest of the month for May.

How did you do with A to Z this year? And how often have you done it before?

Planning a theme ahead of time and writing the posts before April begins makes all the difference in the world. Plan for next year and try again. Bet you'll have even more fun!

I hope so.

This was my 4th year and I admire the work it takes to keep two blogs going. That's amazing,

This is my 3rd year. I find silly, entertaining topics work best for me. They provide an escape from the writing I do for a living. It's fun to blog hop and get to know people who have interests similar to mine. Congrats on completing this year's challenge!

I can't really say what makes me want to follow a blog, but often, something jumps out and says "Hey".

Finding your blog through your reflection. This is what I love about the challenge. This was my 3rd year so in my reflection I have some opinions about what works. I must admit I am out of gas at the moment, but thinking about what I learned from blogs like yours and others who are making it easy to read their work, uncluttered etc. Congratulations.

Thank you for your thoughts. Preparation is always a plus, but winging it makes it all a different kind of Challenge so there is something to be said about doing it either way.

Thanks for joining us in A to Z again and hope you decide to return in 2016.

I'm now following your blog!

If I decide to do the challenge again, I probably will enter both blogs. Thanks for stopping by.

This was my second year with the Challenge, and I can honestly say there's no way I could have done it with two blogs. Kudos and congrats to you!

I know I commented earlier, but I just wanted to say that I finally had a chance to read through all of your A to Z posts. I'm taking the Road Trip to go back and visit all the blogs I didn't have time to read during the Challenge. I enjoyed your posts. I have to apologize, though, because one of the new comments I left repeated something I'd said on a previous comment that I'd forgotten I'd written. If that makes sense. Anyway, congrats again for surviving the Challenge!

Hello there.
Congratulations on completing the challenge...you certainly had your hands full during April! This was also my second year but I'm still undecided about taking part next year. I actually got to visit your blog during the challenge too. Just meandering through from the Road Trip.
