Celebrate The Small Things:End Of May

I can't believe it's already Friday again. Anyway.

Yesterday evening, a couple of my roommates came across a lost dog and brought him inside.

We have yet to find his owner, but at least he's better off that he would have been spending all night on the street. We'll keep looking for a few days or until we find who he belongs to. In the meantime, he's adorable.

And for the small things I'm happy about:

  • New music. Always cool.
  • Been re-reading a comic I like.
  • I get peace and quiet for a couple of days. *internally throws a party*

What are you celebrating this week?

Oh poor little fellow, good job he ran into you and your friends. Hope he finds his owner soon. Peace, quiet and reading something enjoyable - sounds good to me. Happy weekend.

OMG, poochie is so adorable. I'd gladly take him myself so Sophie could have a 'brother'. Awesome for getting some peace and quiet, and new music always rocks! Listening to music always lifts my mood and spirits! Have an awesome weekend! Hugs, Eva

What a cute dog! He sort of looks like a cross between a Chihuahua and a Dobie. I'm sure his owner is missing him and will be so grateful you and your roommates took care of him. Have a wonderful weekend full of peace and quiet! :)

I love comics, peaceful times, and sweet dogs! I hope you find the owner, (smile).

Thanks. You too.

We're looking. We'll be sad to see him go, but if they miss him, I'd hate to be the reason they don't get him back.

New music, comics, and quiet sound wonderful!

You know that dog is adorable! And, that's how we "found" our new-old dog - he was dumped off in a park, we couldn't believe that no one would answer our ads/posters and that he didn't have a chip, and then after six weeks, he was ours. He is a sweetie and we are happy with being his new owners . . . although it took the vet a while to be able to tell us his age. He's tiny, but he's actually 7 (we thought he was a puppy, at first).

This dog didn't have a microchip either, or even a collar. We've checked for "Lost Dog" posters and ads, but nothing so far. And the time limit we got until he legally becomes ours is 10 days. This should be an interesting week.

Sounds like you had an interesting weekend. So sweet of you to rescue the poor dog. Peace and quiet is definitely worth celebrating. I'd like to celebrate it a lot more often.
I really like the rainbow color in your background.
