Celebrate The Small Things:July

Here is a reminder that you survived the week.

  • First, I love movies.
  • Despite some idiots in our neighborhood, the 4th of July wasn't too bad.
  • Junk food (specifically the sugary kind). Even though it's bad for me.
  • I'm back to getting enough sleep after keeping an eye on the cute-but-obnoxious dog (who likes to get up much earlier than I do).
  • Comfy clothes too.
  • And making this list much longer than I was expecting.

Yay for surviving the week and getting some sleep. Where would we be without snack food? :)

Comfy clothes and sleep. I'll celebrate those, too. And movies. And dessert. :) Have a fun weekend!

I like all your list and agree with it (except I don't have a doggie to wake me up). Wishing you a lovely weekend in comfy clothes and with yummy junk food!

Ah, sugary junk food! The bread chain called Panera's (I think it's throughout North America) has something called a 'cinnamon crunch bagel' that appears to be lacking the hole. Cinnamon chips inside, and a lovely, crunchy crust. I have been known to split one, toast it, butter it, pick off the cinnamon crust and eat that, and then nibble on the cinnamon chips. Ahhh... I hope our weekend is wonderful!

Yay for getting through the week! Glad you managed to catch up on some sleep and who doesn't like to indulge in the odd sweet treat or two! Happy weekend :)

I like your list. Those simple pleasures you mentioned are often the best ones. :-)

YAY for comfy clothes. If I could be in leggings, long, fun socks, and an over-sized t-shirt, I'd be happy happy happy!

Oh yes.

@ Kelley
Thanks for stopping by.

@ Karla Gomez
Maybe not the socks with the temperatures, but leggings and a T-shirt are pretty nice.

It's those small things that make life so wonderful. I totally love climbing our mountain and just being here on our farm. Oh, and the ocean. I'm from the Keys so I miss that. But NC has it's own charm. :-) And cashews. Ha.
