Celebrate The Small Things:It's September

Once again, I'm glad this week has been quiet.

I'm also glad for the holiday weekend. There are some things I'm hoping to get done (like laundry and video games) and this is a good time for it. Also a great time to sleep.

Finally, we'll be moving into fall and winter soon, my favorite seasons. And while Christmas and Thanksgiving and all that can be stressful, I look forward to them.

How are things on your end?

I'm also looking forward to the three day weekend. It has been an adjustment the last week and a half, getting up even earlier to get the kids to school. It's just like turning the clocks back in the spring. It takes me a week to get used to that, too.
I do enjoy the holidays, but not the cold and snowy weather. I'd be happy if we could go right from fall to spring and skip winter.

Yay to Fall and Winter! I love summer too, but with the farm, things get really busy. It's nice to have some cuddle up in front of the fire time. And enjoy your extra sleep this weekend.

I love fall and winter too. I can't wait until they're here! And I love Christmas decorations. So cheerful. All the hotels in Egypt and many stores put up big Christmas displays (for the tourists). It's very lovely. Have a great weekend!

Quiet weekends can be really good for the soul. When it comes to the holidays, I make time to be quiet in them, because I enjoy them so much. There's the hustle and bustle, but there's also those moments when I sit and stare and wonder and daydream. I love the holidays and make a point not to let them stress me out.

Sounds like a good idea.
