Celebrate The Small Things:Take What's There

Sign-up

Time to make up for missing the last time this hop happened.

I'm glad for the trip I took with some family last weekend (I still have a post about the visit I need to work). But I'm also glad to be home and relaxing.

On a more somber note, as one of my family members is approaching the end of her life soon, I am grateful we get some time left to spend with her.

How are things on your end?

Glad you enjoyed the trip and can't wait to hear more about it. Although it's a sober thought, it's wonderful to celebrate time with someone. I'm sure these are moments you will always cherish.

I think it's a blessing to have more time with family! Wishing you peace. I would love to take a trip - even a day trip would make me smile more.

It's great you got to spend time with family, and I hope your aging family member doesn't depart too soon - although at least you got to spend quality time together. Have a wonderful weekend. :)

I'm sorry to hear about your family member. That's sad. I'm glad you're getting to spend time with her, though. At least you'll have those memories.

Sounds like you had a good trip. I agree, it's always nice to come home. Hope you have a good weekend!

It's good to have time with a loved one before they die. It's sad, but at least you know have that opportunity to say the things you would regret not saying if you didn't have that time.

Family trips are great. My fiance and I were in Canberra last weekend for Floriade, and had a lovely lunch at the National Library with my mother, sister, daughter, and my niece.
