During my childhood, my mother was really into Jewish holidays. So she decided to substitute Passover for Easter.

I am not celebrating with her anymore.

The main issue is cultural appropriation, which is the act of taking something sacred or special from a culture that a) you don't belong to and b) is seen as lesser than the dominant culture. Articles like these explains it pretty well.

Here are more links explaining specifically why it's inappropriate for Christians to celebrate Jewish holidays (except in cases where a Jewish person specifically invites you to take part in one).
